Happy New Year! from Goin' All Gamer
2014 was a wild and wonderful year for Gamers, we saw the rise of the "Next - Gen" console wars, we celebrated #20YearsofPlay with PlayStation and we experienced excitement, disappointment and sheer terror! that this years games had to offer . . . but 2014 meant more to us than ever!
With your help, we were able to turn Goin' All Gamer from an idea into reality and we want to thank every single person for the Likes, Subscribes, ReShares and +1's that we received throughout the year, it wouldn't have been possible without you!

Planetside 2 Beta launch!
Well it has been a while since I've blogged my friends so I figured tonight I would grace you with my presence and let you in on some gaming news!
This news source is from the twitter account of Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedley who confirmed that the beta for the MMO Planetside 2 will launch in late January of 2015.
The beta is expected to go live sometime in the week of January 13th or January 20th however developers will know more more in the new year "January 5th"

Sony Reveals 20th Anniversary Edition PlayStation 4

Shuhei Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios has taken to the PlayStation Blog to talk about PlayStation & 20 Years of Play and to thank players for joining them on their 20 year journey but within the post, he also revealed an old take on a new product . . .
"We sincerely thank you for joining us on our exciting 20-year journey. You have made every bump and scrape we took along the way worthwhile. And there’s so much more to come! . . . But I don’t want to go on for too long, because we have a big piece of news to reveal: a very special 20th Anniversary Edition PS4!"
Coinciding with PlayStation's 20th Anniversary, Sony will be releasing a special edition PS4 wearing the original grey colour of the first PlayStation, the product will be priced at €499 and will be limited to 12,300 units, which reflects the original launch in 1994![]() |

Ubisoft Giving Compensation After Rocky Unity Launch
Ubisoft's CEO, Yannis Mallat has revealed that players will receive compensation for investing in Assassin's Creed Unity only to be disappointed at the games unexpected technical issues and bugs at launch
Yannis expressed his deepest apologies with the gaming community stating that . . .
"Unfortunately, at launch, the overall quality of the game was diminished by bugs and unexpected technical issues. I want to sincerely apologize on behalf of Ubisoft and the entire Assassin's Creed team. These problems took away from your enjoyment of the game, and kept many of you from experiencing the game at its fullest potential."
Yannis stated that anyone with a copy of Assassin's Creed Unity would be entitled to the
upcoming Dead Kings DLC for free and those who purchased the Season Pass will also have the choice of one additional game from a selection of Ubisoft titles completely free of charge

So guys HorrorFest is almost over however we would like to say that our video for The Evil Within has been delayed due to a horrible internet connection. Yes I know we had to have these up between Monday and Friday of this week but that being said we will finish HorrorFest! Expect our video for The Evil Within soon.

HorrorFest! Update
Ok guys we've made some changes to HorrorFest. Rather than uploading videos across the month of October we've narrowed it down to just one week. This week of course being the week of Halloween which takes place from the 27th to the 31st ofOctober
We're only doing Slender: The Arrival, Alien: Isolation and The Evil Within as they are the newest horror games to be released so far.

HorrorFest!
With Halloween just around the corner things are gonna get scary and one place that you will find the most horror is in a video game. From the likes of DOOM to Outlast horror has been a part of the gaming industry for decades.
Our roster only consists Slender: The Arrival, Alien Isolation and The Evil Within. At the end of October we will pick a winner of what we thought was the scariest game and it will be shown on Halloween night.

Destiny servers go down!
The Destiny servers are experience problems with match-making and login on all consoles which most of us are believing is a result of cattle.
However the "Lizard Squad" who attacked PSN last month, seem to be taking all the credit saying they used DDOS attacks on the servers to disconnect players from the game.

Assassin's Creed Unity Delayed Till November
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Unity will be delayed by 2 weeks and will launch with a Day One Patch, the delay is the result of the developers desire to polish the game
Ubisoft's Senior Producer, Vincent Pontbriand stated . . .
"As we get close to the finish, we realise we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin's Creed Unity is exceptional, We sincerely appreciate players' commitment to the game and their patience. It's just a couple more weeks. And it's going to be worth it."

As a result of the delay, Assassin's Creed Unity will now launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 11th in North America and November 13th in Europe and Australia

Journey and The Unfinished Swan could be hitting PS4
A list appeared on Sonys official site listing that PS3 favourites Journey and The Unfinished Swan could be hitting Playstation 4, hours later however the list was removed.
Sony has not confirmed anything on the the re-release of these games and we probably won't hear anything until Gamescom.

Xbox One users paying for EA demos!
Xbox One users looking to play the FIFA 14 and EA Sports UFC demo will now have to fork out some money as EA are now charging for demos. Demos are usually free and so far PS4 versions of these demos have not been affected and are still free.
An EA representative has blamed a system error on this and say that it will be rectified in the next 24 hours so wait it out before you decide to pay money for this.

Escape Dead Island announced!
Deep Silver have announced a survival mystery game calling it Escape Dead Island which is yet another spin off to take place between Dead Island and Dead Island 2. The game is a third-person single player spin off set to release in autumn of 2014 for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
This game is to bridge the gap between Dead Island and Dead Island 2 and reveals more on how the virus originated, Deep Silver say that this game will have a 'fresh perspective' on the Dead Island universe.

Sniper Elite 3 gets a 16GB day-one patch!
Xbox One users are in for a big surprise with Sniper Elite 3. On this platform the game has landed a 16GB patch seeing it as one of the biggest day-one patch in recent years.
There will be a similar patch on PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 although it will be smaller. This patch however is only seen on the retail versions of the game and any that were digitally downloaded include the patch.

Battlefield: Hardline gets a second beta!
With the beta for Battlefield: Hardline on the PS4 now over, Visceral Games have announced that they will be releasing another beta trail this time however it will be released on PS4 along with PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Visceral have not released any other details so unfortunately we don't have a release date for the beta yet.

The Last Of Us: Remastered gets a PS4 console bundle!
Listings on Amazon: France show that there is bundle for The Last Of Us: Remastered which includes a Playstation 4.
Amazons listings say the bundle will launch on July 30th and will include a 500GB console along with a copy of The Last Of Us: Remastered.

Metro: Redux gets a release date.
Deep Silver, publisher of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light, has confirmed the release date for the bundled edition Metro: Redux.
Metro: Redux will be released on August 26th in the US and later on August 29th in Europe. The bundle will contain both Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light along with previously released add-on content.

Coloured PS4 controllers are on the horizon!
The wait for a blue version of the PS4 controller is nearly over. A post on the Playstation Facebook page confirmed that the Wave Blue controllers will be released in autumn in the US.
Nothing however has been confirmed on the release of the Magma Red controller which was announced alongside the Wave Blue and no nothing has been said about a colour variant being released in Europe however both territories will get a Glacier White controller in September alongside Destiny.

Assassins Creed: Unity gets a PC release the same time as consoles.
Although Ubisoft have a history of delaying the PC releases of games they plan to release the new Assassins Creed the same time it is released on consoles.
Assassins Creed IV Black Flag was released on three weeks after it dropped on consoles and Assassins Creed III wasn't released till November 2012 even though it was said to be released in the October of that year along with the console versions.

Titianfall 48-hour trial this weekend on PC
As part of 'Game Time' on Origin Titanfall will be going free-to-play on the PC. Basically Game Time is when EA makes a game free for 48 hours given users the chance to try the game free of charge.
Titanfall is available as of now until Monday, June 23 and once the game is downloaded users will have only 48 hours to play the game, if they like it enough to buy it afterwards game progression and unlocks will carry over.

Outlast available to Xbox One users!
Outlast, the survival horror game which puts players in the shoes of journalist Miles Upshur as they try to survive the horrors and uncover the mystery of Mount Massive Asylum, is now available to play on the Xbox One.
The game was originally released in 2013 for the PC and earlier this year got a release on the Playstation 4, the game is now available to purchase on the Xbox One store along with the DLC pack Whistleblower.

Grand Theft Auto online heists delayed!
Rockstar have come out and stated that the online heists mode for Grand Theft Auto V has been the delayed!
The mode was originally set to be released in spring of this year and unfortunately Rockstar haven't announced when we should expect to see the heists but did say that there will be more content updates for GTA Online coming in the future.

The Witcher 3: shows PS4 "slightly more powerful" then Xbox One
Developers of The Witcher 3 say that it is more easier to hit 1080p on the PS4 then it is on the Xbox One because the Playstation is a more powerful machine.
The game can run at 900p on the Xbox One but developers CD Projekt Red have are aiming to the it to 1080p
CD Projekt Red's John Mamais has said that it is unknown if they can pull 1080p off on the Xbox One but they'd like to get up that far, he also said that the game will hit 1080p on the PS4

DayZ coming to PS4 and Xbox One this year
Dean Hall, creator of DayZ, has suggested that there will be a console version of the game released this year!
Although there has been talks of this for sometime now there is plenty of evidence to suggest that there will be a console version and that it will be revealed and released this year.

New gameplay demo for Metal Gear Solid V
In a recent tweet on his twitter feed Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear franchise, has said that there will be a new gameplay demo released for the the upcoming game The Phantom Pain tomorrow! (June 19)
It also said that this demo will be the equivalent to what was shown at E3 2014 which was only shown to 600-800 people.

Batman: Arkham Knight release date announced?
During an interview voice actor Kevin Conroy who has voiced The Dark Knight for a number of years and has portrayed he caped cursader in the pervious Arkham games, except for Arkham Origins, has said that the upcoming Arkham Knight game will be released in January of 2015
The game was originally set for a release in October of 2014 before developers Rocksteady delayed the game to 2015 however in the same interview Conroy sad that the game was to be released in January of this year. Conroy also said that the reason the game has been delayed is because it's "too awesome".

Bethesda talks about releasing a new game: Possibly Fallout 4
It's become pretty obvious that Bethesda are working on a new game and there is a high possibility that this game is in fact Fallout 4 however the studio hasn't confirmed anything and some of us have found this disappointing!
Bethesda's Todd Howard has come out and explained why fans should wait for game as they will get a more exciting reveal.
For the passed few years now when a new game is in the pipeline developers will drip-feed us content to build up hype, Bethesda believe that it would be better to wait till they have something to show before announceing a game.
