Weekly News Roundup! #16 - NEW BATTLEFRONT CHARACTERS CONFIRMED! PS VITA DEVELOPMENT CANNED!



Well guys another week is over and we got your Weekly News Roundup right here!

This week three new characters were confirmed for Star Wars Battlefront. This characters include Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palatine. So far six characters have been confimred for Battlefront, these three and the already confirmed Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett. Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on November 17th 2015!

Next up the final episode of Telltales hit game series of Game of Thrones has gotten a release date! The episode titled "The Ice Dragon" will be made available on November 17th. Those of you who bought the season pass for the game can download this episode for free.

Next, Frogwares have announced the next installment in their successful Sherlock Holmes video games series. Titled "The Devil's Daughter" the game puts the players back in the shoes of Sherlock Holmes as he tackles five new challenging cases. Players will also have the chance to explore the expansive landscape that is Victorian London! The game is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC and is slated for a 2016 release. More details on the game to be revealed at Paris Game Week!

In other news, Sony have completely dropped all first-party development for the Ps Vita. This means that Sony will no longer be developing games for the Ps Vita. A few months back Sony did announce that handheld gaming would end for them with the Ps Vita and with this new announcement it only confirms what I think a lot of people already knew.

And finally, if you're looking for something new to play this week Ubisofts next entry in the Creed franchise, Assassins Creed Syndicate is available for 70 quid in Ireland. The game is set in Victorian London and tells the tale of Jacob and Evie Frye. Two assassin twins on the road to free London from the Templar grip. And its much better then Assassins Creed Unity.
